NICC Volunteer & Charity Projects

Adopt A Highway Project
NICC Members clean debris from both sides of a stretch of Perryville Road
between Harrison Avenue and Newburg Road four times a year. Supplies are furnished.
All Club Members are encouraged to attend at least one Clean-Up a year. Clean-Ups are usually
scheduled for about 9:00 a.m. on a Saturday and Club Members go to lunch afterwards.
Scheduled Clean-Ups are announced at Club Meetings, in Vette Visions and
posted on the Calendar of Events as they are determined.

RAMP Envelope Stuffing Project

(Regional Access & Mobilization Project)
NICC Members volunteer to help stuff envelopes for RAMP when they have a mailing going out.
RAMP supplies coffee and sometimes rolls in the morning. If the job lasts through lunch they usually buy us lunch.
Project time depends on how many volunteers and lasts until all of the envelopes are stuffed and ready to mail.
These are not regularly scheduled mailing projects and we usually get a call a couple of days in advance.
When called, the information will be posted here on the Web Site, added to the Calendar of Events and
an e-mail will be sent to all Club Members. Many hands make light work!

NICC TOYS FOR TOTS
Over 40 Toys were donated to the Marines for their Toys for Tots in 2007

Support our Troops Project
Throughout the year NICC Members collect useful items to be packaged and sent to US Troops around the world.
Items may be brought to the Membership Meetings. Monetary Donations are used to buy additional items.
Funds and material items are also collected at the NICC Car Shows.
In 2006 over $900.00 was raised and 12 boxes weighing approximately 300 lbs were sent to troops in Iraq.
In 2007 (our 4th year) 10 boxes of goodies were sent to our service men and women in Iraq totaling 270 lbs.
